Was it really summer if you didn’t enjoy a single slice of pie? With the abundance of fruit available this month—from cherries to strawberries, blueberries, peaches, nectarines and more—the sky is the limit when it comes to flavour choices right now. Best of all, if the fruit from your last farmer’s market visit (or direct order) is getting a little overripe, the very best thing to do with them is to bake them into a pie. Not into fruit pies?
